           Marietta was born on 15 July 1869 at Conway County, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Patrick Henry Adams and Martha Ann LLoyd. She married Thomas Samuel Tucker on 10 November 1887 at Prairie Grove, Arkansas.1 Marietta died on 13 April 1931 at Solgohachia, Conway County, Arkansas, at age 61. Morrilton Democrat 1931 - Page 8, April 16, 1931 - "Mrs. T. S. Tucker. After an illness of several months, the last three of which she was confined to her bed, Mrs. T. S. Tucker, aged 61, passed away at the family home on Tucker Mt., near Solgohachia Monday morning about 10:30. She lived in this city before moving to their mountain home four years ago. Mrs. Tucker was born July 15, 1869 and was married to Mr. Tucker November 10, 1887. At the age of 16, she was united with the Methodist church at Prairie Grove, and after her marriage she went with her husband to the Cumberland Presbyterian church, and remained a faithful worker until her death. Mrs. Tucker is survived by her mother, Mrs. Marth Burns, of Enlow, Tex., her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Noah Maxwell, of Solgohachia; three sons. S. O. "Bud" Tucker of Camden, Kavanaugh Tucker of Wynne, and Ben Tucker of Marianna; a sister, Mrs. Ella Tilley of Cleveland and ten grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Henry Alford at the Kilgore cemetery Tuesday afternoon where interment was made. Frank Reid was in charge of funeral arrangements.".2,1 Her body was interred on 14 April 1931 at Kilgore Cemetery, Conway County, Arkansas, at Kilgore Cemetery.3

                      (an unknown value). Mary was born on 24 April 1849 at in Arkansas. She married Alexander Ray on 19 March 1871 at Saline County, Arkansas. Alexander and Mary Jane were married in the County Clerk's Office at Benton, Arkansas by Rev. John C. Henderson..2,3 She was listed as the widow of an unknown person in the pension record at Saline County, Arkansas, on 22 December 1899. In her claim she said: "I have not and am not possessed of any real estate of any kind or description. My husband and I during his lifetime owned tract of 120 acres of land in Saline Co. Ark., N.W. Quarter of N.E. Quarter and S. Half of N.E. Quarter Section 12, Township 1N, Range 15W but on Feb. 23, 1899 he and I made Warranty Deed and transferred said tract of land to our two sons Louis Ray and James M. Ray for the consideration of $100 and the right to occupy the houses and buildings on said tract of land during our lifetime. This is the only real estate ever owned by me. I have no income and have had none since date of filing my claim Nov. 4, 1899 and there is no one legally bound for my support. I have scant household and kitchen furniture and two cows, two yearlings, one horse, two wagons and a small drove of hogs the value of everything not more than $75.00." "My late husband Alexander Ray died in our home in Saline County, Arkansas October 18, 1899. During his last illness Dr. Gilbert attended him. There is no record evidence of his death because he died in the country and was buried in the country graveyard and I herewith present affidavit of Dr. Gilbert showing his death and ask that the same be considered satisfactory. I was married to my late husband in Saline County, Arkansas in March 1871. My name before marriage was Mary Jane Grimmett. I had not been previously married. I lived with my husband Alexander Ray continuously as his wife up to the date of his death and he with me as my husband. My late husband Alexander Ray had been previously married. He was a widower at the time I married him. His first wife's name was Amanda Ray, she was Amanda Moore before she married him. I was acquainted with her and was with her during her last illness and at her death. She died on the Ray place in Saline County, Arkansas on March 29, 1869 and I married Mr. Ray in March 1871. I know that he was not married from the time his first wife died till he married me. Amanda Ray my husbands first wife died in the country and is buried in the country graveyard and there is no record evidence of her death. I herewith present the affidavit of Dr. Medlock showing her death and ask that it be accepted as satisfactory."
